Donald Trump News Today: The January 6th Committee will release Donald Trump’s taxes on Friday

The Jan. 6 group released a report detailing Trump’s “conspiracy.”
The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riots is expected to release Donald Trump’s tax returns on Friday, a congressional aide said.
The commission voted last week to release Mr. Trump’s statements, with some redactions of sensitive information such as Social Security numbers and contact information.
Meanwhile, the Jan. 6 commission released another batch of transcripts, including another pair of interviews with the former the White House helper Cassidy Hutchinson and other Trump employees of the administration.
The committee issued its final report on the pro-Trump insurgency last Thursday and is now in the process of releasing interview transcripts on which it is based.
The panel conducted more than 1,000 interviews in the course of its 18-month investigation into the violence at the U.S. Capitol that followed Donald Trumpelection defeat by Joe Biden.
The committee will officially shut down when the GOP-controlled House begins its next session on Jan. 3.
In her interview in May, Ms Hutchinson told the committee she remembered Marjorie Taylor Green discussing QAnon with Mr. Trump during a rally in Georgia on January 4, 2021.
